The High School Republicans of Texas was created by kids for kids. We figured the best way for the party to connect with younger voters is through younger voters. HSRT as it’s come to be called was created to preserve a strong conservative base in the state of Texas.
One of the reasons we are so involved in the political process is because we had the opportunity to get involved. This opportunity has changed our perspective and given us a valuable asset, a passion for conservatism. We desperately want the kids of Texas to feel the same way we do, so we’ve set out to educate the youth and provide the same opportunity through political activism.
One of the reasons we’re so much different than other groups; we don’t sit around talking, we go out and fight. We are always the door-to-door, dusk till dawn members of any campaign. We realize no one is willing to fight harder for our future than ourselves. It’s an uphill battle, but we know with your help this state will stay great.
